The Scars of Becoming
2026
This piece reflects the universal process of transformation.
A tree becomes a pallet, the pallet becomes a stool, and the story continues.
The exposed wounds in the wood acknowledge that trauma is part of the journey:
unhidden, unashamed, present, and integrated.
Through the moth and the spiralling forms, the work speaks of acceptance
and of the quiet power that arises when we allow the endless process
of becoming to unfold.
